A summer holiday house with 3 bedrooms and a large sunroom running down the side which is a wonderful spot for the kids - its got its own bunk room, lounges and their own TV/Video/DVD.

The block is 1000sqm, flat, fully fenced, sunny and secure. A lock up garage with spare bikes, gas BBQ, 2nd shower and laundry are at your disposal.
Hawks Nest is as flat as a tack - so it\'s an easy bike ride to Jimmys Beach (400m), Bennetts Beach (800m) and the Myall river is literally 50m away.
A new kitchen as of Jan \'04 along with new carpet and paint
brings a freshness to the house. Plenty of room to park your boat off the street.

Water / Boating / Golf

Hawks Nest Golf Club has a wonderful 18 hole public course, with some holes running along the sand dunes of Bennetts Beach. Always in great condition, and with the prevailing sea breeze it makes for a pleasant surprise. Of course, HORIZONS is a Ferry ($15 ret) or Jetboat ($40 ret) across the bay, but more of a \'day out\'.

A Boat Ramp to the Myall river is about 350m away. Either head north to the Great Lakes or a quick 10min trip south will get you into Port Stephens. A great way to discover new and uninhabited beaches.

Beaches

JIMMY\'S BEACH is the place to take your young kids. Sitting on the northern perimeter of Port Stephens looking at Shoal Bay, it is a well protected beach. Invariably flat and peaceful, keep a lookout for the dolphins about 100m offshore. Catamaran and sailboard hire on beach. The Yaccaba Headland gets dozens of kitesurfers. BENNETTS BEACH is the main surf beach. Patrolled and beautiful, about 20km\'s in length. A 30m walk from the carpark.
