Description

Set atop 23 private bushland acres, with magnificant valley views, this is a perfect weekend or weeklong getaway for family and friends.

Just 50 minutes from the Hunter wine country, 12 to historic Morpeth and Paterson, 20 to Maitland and 45 to the waterways of Nelsons Bay.

The modern homestead offers excellent accommodation comprising three double bedrooms, a large four bed bunkroom, rumpus room, ensuite in master bedroom, full main bathroom with spa bath and a third shower and toilet.

Enjoy the surrounding interests - historic towns, golf courses, vineyards and wine tours. Or just veg out and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Kookaburras, wallabies and possums abound the property.

An inexpensive 3 night weekend, or full week, for groups of up to 12 people. Linen can be provided at a cost of $20 pp.

  • "We had a really fabulous time being together. We were very impressed by the beauty of the property and the cleanliness of the house. You have provided absolutely everything that could possibly be needed, the bedding was fresh and all of us were comfortable and warm. We range in age from 6yrs to 78yrs and there was something to do for everyone. We have stayed at a few properties over the years but yours has to be the best in terms of space, view, ambience and the provisions in the house. I am so glad I stumbled across your property on the internet. I think we will be back time and time again!!! Once again, my biggest thanks to you. "

  • "Our group of 3 couples spent 3 wonderful nights at Top View Farm to attend at wedding at nearby Tocal. Carolyn had gone to a great deal of trouble to make us feel welcome and we did - straight away! The house was perfect: the kitchen amazingly well resourced; the bedrooms great; plenty of comfy seating in the lounge room; excellent bathroom facilities to cope with a larger group; and what a view from the dining table and verandah!! We were very lucky to witness one of the resident heifers produce her first calf on the Saturday morning - what a wonderful experience. We haven't been able to stop talking about Top View, recommending it to everyone and it is definitely on our "will return" list. "

  • "A group of 12 of us stayed there for a wedding in Paterson. The stay was absolutely beautiful the view was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone. The boys all enjoyed challenging each other in Table tennis while the girls sat on the veranda admiring the view. We are looking forward to returning in the future. "

  • "I stayed at Top View Farm with a group of 12 for the Jazz in the Vines weekend. It was the perfect place to spend quality time with friends. The home was cosy and warm, the kitchen was fully equipped, the view was spectacular, the animals were adorable and the table tennis in the games room was a great addition, we were all sad to leave. I would definitely stay here again, and have already recommended to others. Thanks for a enjoyable and truly memorable weekend!"

  • "You have in your mind a place where you know you will feel happy on arriving at Top View Farm with my family it was instant joy, it is just a truly beautiful place. To watch my family enjoy time together in a beautiful house, play games, relax in front of the fire, go for walks, it was a home away from home. The owners should be truly commended for thinking of everything to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as ours was. My daughter is nine and her comment on having to leave was"just leave me here so I can be a present for the next person. WE LOVE TOP VIEW FARM."

  • "For my 30th birthday I spent the week at top view farm with my partner and was then joined by 8 friends for the weekend. I really couldn't have hoped for a better location! The homestead is spacious and well stocked with everything you need, the farm animals were a great novelty for the usually city bound and the view was breathtaking. A great value holiday that I would recommend to everybody!"

  • "My group of 8 friends has an absolutely wonderful time at Top View Farm. We relaxed all day on the front balcony, enjoying the view, feeding the horses and enjoying the peace and quiet. This was only broken by visits to the Hunter wine region. By night we cooked meals in the kitchen and on the BBQ, all whilst sipping wine from the local wineries. Everything at Top View Farm was just as described or better. The kitchen is very well stocked for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the bottle of wine on arrival was much appreciated. All the amenities are neat, tidy and very clean. I highly recommend Top View Farm to anyone wanting to get away for a quiet, relaxing, or fun week or weekend. Carolyn was very helpful before, during and after our stay. Thank you very much for everything!"
