  • "My extended family and I stayed here over Easter and loved it! Very spacious, clean and tranquil and the views are amazing. All the children (and adults!) loved feeding and brushing the horses and walking around the property is great. The owners are very nice and had even left some Easter eggs for kids and port for the adults. Highly recommended if you want to get away for a quiet, relaxing time with the family."

  • "My friends and I enjoyed a lovely Australia Day long weekend at this property - the place was excellent: beautiful views, well-furnished, nice and spacious, and all that we needed for a great weekend away! We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of the place, sitting outside on the verandah, and have some great memories from the table-tennis to take away from the weekend! Highly recommended place to stay in the Hunter, very affordable, great value and an excellent holiday is guaranteed if you choose this property to stay at! Thank you! "

  • "Tope view farm is aptly named - it has a magnificent view of the plains below. It is wonderful to just relax in the garden with a cup of tea enjoying that priceless view. There are also loads of Wallaby's to be seen in the mornings and evenings. The location is very quiet and private. The kids loved feeding carrots to the horses and rambling through the extensive property. In addition, house has everything you might want on a holiday - including a games room with a ping pong table, darts board, loads and loads of board games, colouring pens and books. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are 3 bathrooms - fantastic for when there are is a reasonable sized group - no queueing for the bathroom! Overall I would highly recommend this property to holiday makers - we are planning to return next year."

  • "Great, big house, perfect for families or groups of friends. Main bedroom was huge with fabulous views. Very cosy and warm despite the size of the place. The kids loved the horses and much fun was had by all. Only gripe was that the electric stove took forever to heat up which caused a bit of a late dinner the first night, but we just worked around it from then on. Recommended for a warm winter getaway."

  • "Our group of friends had the most wonderful time at the property over the easter long weekend. Despite the rain for most of the weekend, we still had a great time on the property. There was so much stuff to do indoor that kept us all occupied. The table tennis was great, the fireplace was excellent, heaps of board game, CD/DVD movies. Basically all 12 of us had something to do. We really appreciate all the little things in the house, etc basic pantry items, torch, esky....All the things that we forgot to bring was available in the house. The view was excellent from the house. Will go there again and again.... "

  • "We have just come back from a fantastic break in the Hunter Valley staying at Top View Farm. Our two families were well accomodated in the spacious and modern "farmhouse". We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches which helped make our stay so comfortable-lots of firewood and kindling ready for the nightly fire, some useful basics in the pantry to help pad out our holiday grocerys and a welcome bottle of port! We were really able to relax in such peaceful and beautiful surroundings. With the winerys about a 45min drive away we recommend you stock up on the way in and then be ready to hunker down and enjoy the lovely view with some local wine and cheese! The kids had a great time and we were happy they were able to burn off loads of energy exploring the farm and running around the paddocks. We were visited by wallabies and kangeroos in the early evening and loved hearing the kookaburras and birds in the mornings. It has been a perfect antidote to a hectic life in Sydney!"
