First built as a gentleman's residence, the house's unique features include beautifully crafted joinery, original cabinetry, quirky collectables and a stone fireplace. But modern life has its creature comforts and everything at Rockridge is taken care of. A new, fully equipped marble kitchen, swimming pool, spa and in-built gas barbecue leaves no stone unturned.

White-washed walls and floors make for a relaxed and unmistakably beachy ambience. Light-filled, open-plan living, dining and sun rooms enjoy an unrivalled sunny vantage with a north-east-westerly aspect. With the sun wrapping around the house from morning to dusk, lazy late-afternoon drinks on the deck, by the pool or in a hammock is what the good life is about. There are many amusements on the northern beaches, however contemplating eating in or dining out is all thats required.

The elevation of the house commands unobstructed and expansive knockout views looking over to the famous Barrenjoey Lighthouse, Pittwater, Whale Beach and the ocean beyond. Easy walking access to the beach is directly across the road, where the original common sandstone and wooden steps lead to the popular southern end of the beach with its ocean pool. The sandstone and timber decking overlooks a garden surrounded by an acre of Australian bush and tropical palms. As there are no immediate neighbours at Rockridge, you feel at one with the surrounds, just as it should be. This is a Sydney beach villa getaway at its best.
