Description

$65 /couple/night (2 night min stay) Attention mid week travellers - our weekend bookings are for large groups and families but if you have a small group going to Jenolan caves mid week then this is one of the best places in Australia to spend a couple of nights with your partner or friends. Use the booking request facility below to get the contact number and text or call if the request is urgent and intended for the next few days, Otherwise use the email contact below and we will get back to you asap.
It is an ideal location to come to the afternoon before you go to the caves. Spend the afternoon by the pool taking in the wonderful sunset. You will be up and at the caves before most have left the mountains, you can then use the rest of the day to visit Kanangra Walls near the caves. Do this while the Katoomba based visitors are traveling back to their hostels. Stay the night after you visit the caves for a place you will never forget. Contact us for a special last minute price on midweek stayz. Most times the house has not been booked midweek and so we will give the whole house to a couple for the night if it is vacant. A million dollar house all to yourselves.

Jenolan Valley View is ideally placed to see all of the attractions in the Blue Mountains while immersed in rural splendor removed from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist centers.

We love this district and know that your family will fall in love with it too. We hope that you come back time and time again.

Jenolan Valley View is ideally positioned part way along the famous Greater Blue Mountains tourist drive. It is near the start of Jenolan Caves road being rated one of the top 5 road bike rides in the country. Lithgow with its supermarkets and restaurants is only 10 minutes away. It is less than 2hrs from most of Sydney and 1.5 hours from western Sydney. You can get here easily after work on a Friday night and be ready to start your weekend first thing Saturday morning.

Jenolan Valley View is a 5 bedroom resort style home perched high on a cliff with spectacular views of the valley below. It is located exactly half way along the road connecting the major tourist centres of Katoomba (Scenic World and the 3 Sisters) and Jenolan Caves. It is an ideal venue from which to visit both of these world class attractions - that's if you can tear yourself away from the cliff top retreat.

Jenolan Valley View is one of those very rare locations that will take your breath away and leave you, your partner and your family with a lifetime memory. For the warmer months it has a swimming pool that spills out over the cliff. In winter you can sit around the log fire. The kids can escape to the games room while you relax with a glass of wine while taking in the view.

We can supply all bedding or you can bring your own. If you want to cook your own meals then there is an outside BBQ and full kitchen facility. Town, with its supermarkets, restaurants and clubs is only 10 minutes drive or you might want to have a meal at one of the very charming local country pubs that are only a short drive.

There is perfect telephone reception for all mobile carriers from Jenolan Valley View.

Please Note
Unfortunately Jenolan Valley view is not available for families with small children who cannot swim. There is a dam close to the house and the amazing swimming pool is right at the door.

Everyone wants to visit the 'big three' – Three Sisters, Scenic World and Jenolan Caves.
In Katoomba – there is the world famous 3 Sisters and Scenic World with the skyway, railway and cableway.
Jenolan Caves is the most visited inland tourist attraction in the State and just last year received the ‘best tourist attraction’ award. The views on the drive in alone are worth the trip.
And Jenolan Valley View is exactly half way between these attractions.
These 3 attractions will take a whole weekend but there are numerous other wonderful tourist locations in the upper and greater Blue Mountains area that make for excellent ½ day and full day trips from Jenolan Valley View. People travel all over Australia looking for experiences as good as these, not realising they are right here in their own backyard.

  • "Just spent a wonderful weekend at JVV with 12 ladies. The accommodation was excellent every facility needed was available. This was a creative arts group and from every aspect there was inspiration. We were able to set up our easels in the games room where we could leave it and go back when ready Beautiful bushland surrounds, views to die for. Bush walks and so muh more. I'll be back. Rates are very reasonable. "

  • "Stayed in this lovely place with my whole family for Christmas. The views are quite memorising. The pool occupied my nieces and nephews. The kitchen was amply equipped for making Christmas lunch. The cycle ride down to jenolan and back was long (almost missed Christmas eve lunch) but beautiful and absolutely worth it. What else can I say but it was a really wonderful Christmas in a perfect location. Loved it. Would recommend to anyone but especially works well for the large family, groups weekends. Don't forget to take some lucrative and your road bike. "

  • "I can totally recommend Valley Views as a wonderful place to stay. Greg, the owner was incredibly helpful; he provided many inspiring suggestions as to what I could find in the area (I was coming up from Melbourne this was especially helpful for me). The property itself was heavenly. Views of the valley greeted you as soon as you awoke every morning. Pristine rolls hills. I witnessed wallabies bounding one day and fantastic bird life daily. The pool views are incredible too. The rooms are spacious and the ensuite was very well presented. In short I WILL be back. I absolutely loved the place. Dont hesitate to book. Do yourself a favour. Greg Allom "

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away with extended family at Valley View. The house perfectly accomodated our group of 11 (with plenty of room so that 3 separate families didn't get on top of each other). The house was comfortable, clean and cosy especially with the indoor wood stove going. The location is very private, views are amazing and we enjoyed some downtime just sitting relaxing looking over the valley. Greg was a great host, readily available if we needed anything, and providing some great suggestions for activities over the weekend. I would highly recommend a stay at Valley View."

  • "We stayed for a long weekend and we were so impressed by everything about this place. The views were spectacular, the property was well maintained and the host was extremely helpful. All made for a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. We will definitely be back! "

  • "I stayed at Jenolan Valley View with my family and overseas guest. There were 11 of us but the house is so spacious it was not squashy at all. The view is exactly as in the picture. The house is really modern with fireplace. We toasted marshmallows by the outdoor fireplace and played pool and table tennis in the separate games room. The surrounding environment and spacious modern house made for the most relaxing weekend in a long time. It's pretty close to Sydney so really ideal for a weekend away. Cheap rates, friendly owner, clean house but most if all amazing views !!!!!"
