A clean, neat, tidy and comfortable residence. Close to shops, Sunday markets and the beach. Our second stay in 2 years and we look forward to coming back. Excellent for children with plenty of comfortable beds. A small courtyard in which to play or for parents to relax in with a BBQ and outdoor dining setting. Highly recommend it!

We spent a week at Sophorae Cottage over the Christmas / New Year break. The cottage was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable .... no problems for boat storage as well. We would definitely stay here again .... Sylvia 2013

The house was very clean, comfortable and handy to the Hotel, restaurants and supermarket.
It also had a side drive to get our boat off the street.
Facilities were good and it was very quiet. I'll stay again

Fantastic!
8 of us were down for the National Celtic Festival which involved long days out in the (this year at least) wind and rain. Being able to come back to this well maintained and beautifully equipped accommodation made the days a pleasure. All the rooms are well appointed and the Hot water seemed endless. I also have not has such a well appointed kitchen in a long while. We will be booking for the same time next year! 10 out of 10.

well presented home, with modern stainless steel kitchen appliances including cappuccino machine (great coffee first thing in the morning). Unlike many other places we have stayed in, the kitchen has many utensils to accommodate cooking. lounge room has large couch and new TV including air con. Bedrooms are spacious with what appears to be new beds and linen. Ideal outdoor entertaining area with new BBQ. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sopphorae Cottage. It was beutifully presented and had everything you might need for your stay. The owners have gone to great lengths to provide all the equipment, utensils and little extras that you don't always get. This included certain food items and condiments which assisted in food preparation. Also loved the espresso coffee machine which was a lovely way to wake up in the morning. The only thing I would comment on was the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms. We had a few very hot days and nights and the air conditioner in the living room was very effective for the living spaces including the kitchen, but not able to have a great deal of impact on the bedrooms. The fans in the queen bedrooms were helpful but the presence of the bunk bed in the "kids room" precluded the addition of a fan there which made the room unbearable hot on certain nights. Other than this, the layout is great and for a small, cosy house, it really allows for quite a large number of people to stay. Really great location also. Thanks so much for a very relaxing holiday.
