The open plan living space spans the full length of the northern water frontage; the interior simply invites you just to sit back & take in the perfectly framed views of the river. There is an I Pod dock, Cd & DVD player...but no TV channels, so ideal for getting away from the busy 'real world'

The master bedroom, w/ queen bed opens directly out to the water views....as does the second queen bedroom.

A side stone terrace with BBQ , WOOD FIRED pot belly & outdoor table is the spot to be on a balmy afternoon.

The Galley/Kitchen has been totally rebuilt with new appliances, a clear glass splash back that frames the rear sandstone wall & rockery garden.
There is direct accees to the newly renovated, heated floor bathroom from the both the living area & from the master bedroom.

SWIM on the high tide, explore the bushland, & /or the nearby bays, beaches and islands by self drive hire boat

You can also travel there by hireboat or own boat

COTTAGE POINT is perfect when staying mid week, book on . A stunning setting & excellent á la carte menu, Travel by own boat is fine, but too far by hire boat



TRANSPORT

Just a reminder that ‘MACKY'S’ is boat access only. There are absolutely no roads to the property, which does make getting there part of the adventure!

From SYDNEY travel north along the Pacific Highway # 1 & F3 FREEWAY, crossing the Hawkesbury River & immediately take the Brooklyn exit. Come back over the river a second time, on the PACIFIC HIGHWAY #83 & turn directly left in to KANGAROO POINT for your water taxi pick up. Allow an hour by car from Sydney, and in peak periods add 30 minutes.

WATER TAXI $70.00 each way , up to 4 guests, phone , advance bookings essential, best to also pre book return trip in advance , pick up at KANGAROO POINT, see notes above. Unload belongings at the wharf, and then park your car. Additional parking is also availabe on the top level, with stairs for easy access to the wharf.

HIRE BOAT PACKAGE Book a return taxi transfer & 48 hour hireboat package for $270.00 inclusive tank of fuel. Your boat will be at the MACKY'S jetty waiting and you will travel upriver in comfort in the water taxi with your belongings . Additional hire at $85.00 per 24hours. Bookings well in advance essential as only limited number of hire boats available.

OWN BOAT up to 20' suitable. Private pontoon. Launch at Mooney Mooney ramp or at Dolphin Marina, 1 Brooklyn Rd ...A small fee applies. Some guests enjoy the longer & very scenic boat journey from Apple Tree Bay or Akuna Bay in Cowan Creek.
