Holiday rentals near Glengallan Homestead and Heritage Centre

Beautiful country cottage in peaceful surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay, Beth is a wonderful host providing everything you need for a stress free stay. Fresh eggs from the girls was an added bonus plus all the lovey treats she left for us, totally unexpected. Enjoyed visiting the chooks, sheep and Guinea fowl each day. Great location for exploring the area. We came to relax but did visit Suttons apple orchard for their famous delicious apple pie, Jersey girls cheese factory, yum, Vincenzo’s deli also yum and The Granite Belt Brewery, you can see there’s a theme going on here, ha ha. We also had a walk to Queen Mary Falls in an attempt to burn off some of the extra calories. I would highly recommend four chooks cottage for anyone looking for a comfortable country getaway. The property is so beautiful, so many opportunities to meet the animals, very comfortable tidy cabins, heard that the camping area is awesome also. Lovely restaurant and bar. Horse riding was exceptional. So nice to sit by the camp fire. This is my new favourite place!
