Holiday rentals near Holwell Gorge State Reserve

We had a comfortable night with the added benefit of being able to watch a movie on Netflix.

Our stay was wonderful. Deviot is wonderfully located right on the Tamar River. Lovely walks and picturesque locations are close at hand. Our pickers hut was perfect, located in a beautifully boutique vineyard. We felt comfortably at home right away. The cabin was snug and warm when needed and perfectly ventilated when we needed a breeze. The screens shaded the inside on the surprisingly high uv summer days. At night the full moon and stars felt wonderfully close through the large picture window. We felt privacy without feeling isolated. We were able to enjoy the abundant wildlife and beautiful scenery of the Tamar Valley. Highly recommended. Thank you.

We stayed here with another couple and enjoyed the views and tranquility. The home has been thoughtfully designed and styled.

Comfortable quiet private clean fantastic outlook

The host provided all the information required to check in and about features of the house. Great communication. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Very comfortable and cosy. Perfectly located as a base to see the Launceston and the surrounding area. The local bakery is a must visit as well as the fish and chip shop. Both within easy walking distance. The seahorse world and platypus house are a short 10 minutes walk away. Thank you Shan for a great house and a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Most enjoyable place for a few days away. Cottage very comfortable and well appointed. Hot tub a great new experience.
