Holiday rentals near Charles Fort

Beautiful house, brilliantly equipped, lovely setting, very relaxed and helpful owners who have covered all the details. We had a fantastic stay - relaxing (including a fair bit of billiards and reading), seeing the sights of Cork, watching the local eagle try to nab the rabbits on the lawn, sitting up to a right royal dinner in the beautiful dining room, soaking in the beautiful bathtub and more. With it had been a week instead of three days.

This place was just what we needed, and had everything. Don’t bother to shop before you arrive, your first breakfast is taken care of. Clean, light, airy and well equipped, including robes, and we wished for no change. Didn’t realise it was wall to wall and door to door with other sections (three) so noise needs to be considered by all but was no issue for us. If you’re bringing kids - be considerate of others, as some accom is couples. You also share laundry facilities so plan your washes well. It’s really lovely and clean and all you need is your clothes! Thanks for having us

Beautiful property, out of the way and unique location, absolutely wonderful

This property is the best in which we have stayed. It’s speaks volumes when we have come from Australia and Dubai. Its breathtaking views, perfect interior design and extremely accommodating hosts make it one of a kind. Will remember this stay for a long time. Many thanks, Mark and Cassie.

Warm welcome from Gwyneth upon our arrival. The location and cabin were perfect for our needs and was warm and comfortable when we returned after a day out. Gwyneth and Merv were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay.
