An amazing place to stay in the heart of Prague. Right in the middle of the Old Town and Christmas markets for our stay. Short walk to the Castle. Most perfect location and quality. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Excellent property right in the midst of the old town. Bars, restaurants, shops, transport, all at your doorstep. The owner and receptionist could not have been more helpful. Our driver was wonderful. A great experience.

Great location close to the Charles Bridge but away from the crowds. Also fantastic for short walk to the Castle district. Stayed in the loft apartment which was beautifully renovated with modern kitchen and bathroom whilst keeping magnificent history of all the old ceiling timbers under the roof. The windows opened fully allowing great breezes to cool it down nicely. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Being in the loft we had to go outside our room for WiFi but not a big issue.

Fantastic old apartments renovated. Feel like you are living in another era with all the comforts. Massive single room with kitchen and separate modern bathroom. Ceiling was stunning with 10 massive 12 inch beams all painted with frescos. Would definitely stay here again. Genuine local Czech pub 100m down the road with only locals and real local food and beer.

The U Kapra Apartments are conveniently located in the heart of Old Town. The 3-bedroom apartment was huge & more than adequate for our requirements. Some street noise could be heard but this isn't surprising given the location & it wasn't bothersome. It should be noted vehicles cannot access the roads close to the apartments & there is a short walk if travelling by taxi. Also note elevator access is not available for all apartments (we had approx. 20 steps to navigate). If this was mentioned on the booking site, I did not notice it. Despite following instructions on arrival, no-one released the main door, nor was the telephone answered. We finally entered the building when another guest exited. On entering, there was a woman sitting at reception in front of a CCTV monitor, who said nothing when I said we had been trying to get in for a long time. We were given one* key for the three of us, & we were not allowed to leave it at reception during the day. As an older building it may not be possible to cut additional keys...? We made it work, but with a group of six or more people, we imagine having one key could be problematic. *There was a second, different key on the keyring. When I queried what it was for, the receptionist shrugged and said "who knows". The two females at reception did not respond to our good mornings and hellos. The gentleman at reception was friendlier & took the trouble to show us the location of a tram stop, which we appreciated.

This apartment was spacious, clean and close to the main attractions of Prague without being in the hustle and bustle. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a few pubs and cafes close by and you're only a short stroll down to the river. Highly recommend.
