Holiday rentals near Penguin Cradle Trail Trailhead

We had one night in the Devonport area after coming off the Spirit of Tasmania, and the Red Door was a wonderful place to stay. Beth's communication before our visit was prompt and helpful, and we appreciated her restaurant recommendation. We also really appreciated being welcomed to check in early since the cottage booking schedule allowed for that. Breakfast was very nice--just what we'd requested.Definitely recommend the Red Door!

This house was a joy to stay at. It was cosy, comfortable, well-stocked, and just a perfect place to wind down. Mornings on the porch with a cup of tea watching the mist rise across the land were glorious, especially on the days when the resident pademelon hopped over to say hello. Genevieve is helpful, responsive and lovely. Thanks very much for a wonderful start to our Tassie trip.

Kit's place was everything one could want. Cosy cottage was a lovely place for us on the first leg of our Tassie adventure. Location was superb - high on a hill, off main roads, surrounded by the forest and with Kit's beautiful gardens to enjoy. And in addition, was a great spot from which to explore the north west. The Tarkine, Stanley, Burnie, Penguin, Leven Gorge and Cradle Mountain. Kit's genuine interest in our enjoyment of Tassie and many recommendations was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

We arrived to a very nice heated house which was spotless and very welcoming. Once unpack the owner , Terry , arrived to great us and make sure very thing was ok. Very friendly and helpful owner. The house has beach front views and is very roomy with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It is a 5 minute walk to the shops which has an IGA , bakery, coffeehouse, information shop ,several restaurants and a pub. We had a meal at the pub , great atmosphere and food. Penguin is a great location for day trips to Stanley and the north west part of Tasmania. It is a 30 minute drive to Devonport to catch the Spirit of Tasmania. The owner ,Terry , made our last 4 days in Tasmania perfect with not only his charming house but also his friendly nature. Will be coming back to stay at “ sunrise at penguin “ again Thank you Terry

Superb, everything that we could want was provided. Pip and Paul were great hosts.

This was our third stay and it was lovely, as always. Highly recommend!
