Holiday rentals near Castel Sant'Angelo

We booked this apartment because it had a 100% 10 out of 10 rating. How is this possible? Carlo and Alessandra are the most gracious and helpful hosts. This is their ancestral home and their pride in the area is only matched by the quality of the area. The trains, metro and buses are all close at hand but the proximity to so many of the historic areas of Rome means walking is a valid option.Carlo and Alessandra’s hospitality was expressed in so many ways. Like, taking off their shoes before showing us the apartment with no expectation we had to do the same “because the cleaned floor is now yours”; and showing us the best restaurants, bars, gelato shops etc. within a short walk of the apartment. There was so much more but I do not want to spoil the excitement of discovery when you visit.10 out of 10 …. no problem.

Great location in Rome. The accommodation had everything we needed and allowed for a small amount of own food and cooking. There was a pull out couch for our son. Stafano was the GOAT host. He was responsive (spoke great English), helpful and made us feel comfortable.

The apartment is lovely and the rooftop area is very special with a great view. The apartment is very comfortable . Many stairs but ok. Allessio helped us with our bags . He is a very kind host . We loved our stay .

From the moment we arrived Giovanni was there to meet us, showing us the property and making sure we knew where local shops and cafes were. This property is very well maintained, it has four comfortable and spacious bedrooms, one medium and one small bathroom, a washing machine, dishwasher and nice family dining room and kitchen. It was well located and a pleasure to stay in. We had Christmas lunch here and were able to relax as a family. A pleasure.

This was our second time staying in this beautiful apartment. It is so convenient to all major attractions and it is so spacious and light. Check-in was easy and Allan explained everything we needed to know. Sadly we only had 3 nights this time but would love to return.

Alessandra responds promptly, she has thought about everything to make your stay enjoyable. From a restaurant guide to additional chargers and instructions on how to use everything and basic essentials like soap and dishwashing liquid. The apartment is spacious and clean and fabulous.

We were amazed at how close we were to everything! The apt is in a 14th century building with a secure entrance to the courtyard. If you have difficulty with stairs then you’ll want the pullout couch and downstairs bathroom. Upstairs is great for agile users. Lots of steps and challenging space in the bathroom . All in all it had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay. We would there again!!

This lovely apartment was perfect for our six night stay in Rome. Located adjacent to the Spanish Steps, this spacious two bedroom apartment is warm, inviting and beautifully appointed. It has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay in Rome. There’s an abundance outstanding restaurants, cafes and bars in an easy walking distance, along with the most extraordinary array of shops and luxury stores. The Spanish Steps is a lively and wonderfully vibrant area. Inside the apartment, you have a spacious, quiet and peaceful haven with a sweet sunlit courtyard that offers a lovely place to read. Our hostess, Paola, was wonderfully organised and very accomodating, welcoming us on our arrival, recommending restaurants and offering suggestions to enhance our stay. We loved our stay in Rome and will fondly remember our visit to this lovely place.
