Excellent Service, Convenience and Comfort
We greatly enjoyed the resort. Excellent location, right at the base of Peak 9, very convenient to restaurants, shops and there is a supermarket only 5-10 mins walk away.
We had a Queen Studio room with a Balcony and had amazing views directly over the mountain side. There is a sofa bed in the room, kitchen, decent sized bathroom, free laundry and ski hire downstairs at the base of the mountain where we received great service.
The studio was well appointed and very comfortable. It would have been a bit squashed with more than 2 adults, maybe ok for 2 adults and a child but everyone has different things they will compromise on. The only thing I would comment on is lack of ventilation in the shower area, there isn't really a strong fan in there.
Service in the hotel was excellent. The front office staff got to know us and would always say hello to me as I walked past. There are a number of activities available in the resort for people who aren't skiing and in the evenings even for those who are...some are complimentary and others are at a cost. We were there to ski, so didn't take any of these up.
There is also an extensive video library for movies if desired.
There is a different breakfast theme every day @ only $7.00 per person. We tried this on the first day but didn't really rate the breakfast that highly so we went to the supermarket and bought provisions. Magnificent views, excellent location, comfortable, excellent service.

overfurnished and depressing
Our room was heavily overfurnished with old worn furniture so it was hard to move about the place. There were many mats about the place which felt old, tired and dirty. Not at all what I had expected.
