We decided to stay here for a restful break in early Winter. Not unexpectedly it was rather cold and wet outside, but the Unit was wonderfully warm and well insulated despite the weather. The bed and couches were very comfortable and the kitchen was easy to work in. We chose to bring a slow cooker and air-fryer which meant we rarely went out for meals. The hot water worked well and the hosts were helpful and friendly. My husband uses a walking frame but this was easy to manage in the Unit. The elevated position of the Unit was a bit more demanding for packing and unpacking the car but the view of Mt Gambier township from the Unit was great.

This lovely heritage property is so comfortable and cosy and perfectly positioned on the Pt Macdonnell foreshore. The fire was lit ready for my arrival, which warmed my heart as well as my body! Everything I needed was on hand, every detail had been considered to ensure the guest's enjoyable stay. Thankyou Beth and Michael. I can't wait to visit again and explore Port Macdonnell, Mt Gambier, Naracoorte and the Coonawarra wine district.

We enjoyed our stay the house was clean and comfortable with a great location and lovely gardens and outdoor area and catered well for our needs

Great house & location!Views from the dining/lounge are nothing short of perfect!Just be prepared for some wind at times.Property manager helped us out with questions & was very easy to contact.
