Host was very helpful, great communication, lots of thoughtful touches in the house, great location, walkable to beach and supermarket. Very comfortable stay.

Travelling from Australia we found Parrot Nest an excellent place to relax, visit with our friend and explore the Tauranga area.The accommodation and inclusions were just as described, except the bed is extremely high for shorter or older guests. We shall stay again when we visit Tauranga again.

Such a beautiful house to stay in. Very modern with lots of thoughtful touches. Table tennis and board games were great for the rainy weather. Very close to a great group of shops - recommend the Japanese restaurant. Traffic is really bad driving in and out of the area so allow extra time to get here so you can make the most of your stay!

Karen is an excellent host, prompt with replies and with providing information on the house and surrounding areas for things to do. Karen has a wonderful personality. The house was immaculate with everything one would need, the main bedroom bed was very comfortable, bathrooms etc were clean and well stocked. Nice to have a washing machine and dryer too, and an enclosed garage attached to the house and security system. Internet was excellent, with Netflix etc on the upstairs TV. Location is excellent...close to the beach, shops, restaurants. A very comfortble home. We would highly recommend this home for a vacation. 5-stars!

Lars and family were so helpful with local restaurants and attractions, we added the suggestions onto our itinerary and had such a great time. We were absolutely spolied being so close to Papamoa beach and was very sad to leave it.. The property was well stocked and equipped for us to make breakfast and lunch everyday with ease. We also packed light on our trip and used the washer which was very convenient. Lars and family were very attentive and ensured we were looked after. Highly recommend; great hosts, stunning location, slow paced and beautiful beach.

My family and I spent 10 days at this property with a mix of work and holiday activity. It was perfectly set up for what we needed and created a wonderful family environment. Helen was a phenomenal host, happy to help with anything we needed. 10/10 experience!
