Holiday rentals near Saguri Shrine

We loved our stay in this beautiful house with great amenities. A fantastic location, close to many temples, gardens and cafes. The hosts were very accommodating and gave clear communication for the check in. There are also amazing forest walks nearby that pass through a number of less visited temples. We hope to return some day soon.

Very clean had everything we needed had train noises but not all night so not a problem- close to trains and shops - fantastic place

This was our second time staying at this lovely property and weren’t disappointed. We had everything we needed for a super comfortable stay.

We were a large family group of 11 staying in 3 of the houses which enabled us to come together and separate with ease.

Amazingly hospitable hosts. Great traditional and western fusion accommodation.

This property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay here greatly. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us a good tour on arrival and provided plenty of advice about the surrounding area. They also responded very promptly to any msgs in the Stayz app. Property was very clean, easy to walk to/from the train and in a nice area.

We were greeted at the door by Yoshiko. Lovely to meet with her again. She explained changes that had happened since Covid. The machiya is a piece of history and is so peaceful. The bath is amazing with a feature that will fill then notify you that it is ready. The garden off the bedroom is a calming place to enjoy. This is such a well situated place to stay. We would love to return.

Absolutely fantastic location and property quality is outstanding. Naoko, the host/owner, was so helpful with recommendations and bookings. Location, location. “Bumped” into Geishas in the neighbourhood without the paparazzi. Do yourself a favour and stay here
