What a great place to stay to get a sense of the historic city centre. We enjoyed the stay, but there is no lift for those who can’t cope with stairs would be better to book the Lady Hamilton hotel.

Excellent location. Easily walkable to main attractions and steps from the Gamla Stan underground. Also walkable from the main Stockholm train station. It is a short walk also to the ferries that take you out to the islands. The apartment is also right in amongst the popular tourist shopping area in the old town yet in a side street that’s a bit quieter so ideal. Breakfast was outstanding with a great variety and quality of food. The apartment was great with washer/drey, washing machine, and all other utensils and appliances you could need. The apartment also had a more than the usual 2 teabags which was a pleasant surprise and it also had enough small milk pouches to do is for our entire 3 night stay. We have now been travelling for 2 months and in all that time, this is the ONLY accommodation we didn’t have to continuously go back and ask for more tea/coffee supplies. Full marks there! The staff were all friendly and happy to help with any questions we had. The only reason it is rated slightly lower is that the apartment is showing its age and could probably do with a deep clean (dusty lights), a fresh coat of paint (chipping chipboard bathroom cupboards), and some new rugs. Overall though it was ideal for our short stay. We would definitely stay again.

Super convenient location, very modern apartment with all the amenities, perhaps a bit on the smallish side but truly beautiful!

The apartment was in a great location in the old city centre of Gamla Stan. Even though the location was great, bare in mind that no taxis will drop you off at the apartment, so you need to be prepared to roll your luggage over cobble stoned streets to get there - considering we have a family of four with lots of bags, this was quite and effort, as was carrying the bags up two flights of stairs (no lift). The apartment was very spacious and clean, and had the bonus of having a washing machine available for use. We would definitely recommend staying here to other travellers.

In a 17th century building there is no lift, but a twisting, worn, steep staircase. Access and checkin are via an intercom speaker. The address displays no sign outside, just a number over the door, like every other door in the lane.
