Holiday rentals near Land of the Beardies History House

Eight hikers stayed here for four nights, doing day trips out to Gibralter Range (when it wasn't raining!) A bit tricky for bedding, as we had four singles and two couples - easier if we had more couples to share the queen beds in all but one room.All clean and tidy, had good communication with Rhianne our hostess, who helped with extra requests we had.Only thing short was tea-towels and maybe more hand towels for the bathroom. With an ensuite for two, the other six shared the main bathroom, a bit tricky in the morning, but manageable.

The beautiful surroundings and comfortable accommodation made for a relaxing escape from city dwelling. 1st photo shows the view from the verandah. 2nd photo is a sunset view. aAll in all we can highly recommend it.

We had the most wonderful weekend gathering at Waterloo. The Quarters have been beautifully restored, with every modern luxury, whilst still maintaining the charm of the old building. We loved all the details, the cleanliness, the well-equipped kitchen, the huge fireplace and living space. This is just the best place to gather with a large group. We will be back. Thank you Deb. X
