Holiday rentals near Domaine de la Citadelle

The location is perfect - an easy stroll or bike ride into St Remy. The house was well equipped, comfortable, cozy (we stayed in winter) and felt just like home. Julien was a fantastic host: easy to contact and extremely helpful. We look forward to coming back in summer to enjoy the pool & garden.

A wonderful apartment, true to the listing, quiet and equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Goult is a lovely village with good restaurants, a bakery, small supermarket and several bars. Close enough to explore the many villages and wineries of the Luberon,Provence area. We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the property. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We did need to ask for bath towels as these are not provided. Also a 50 Euro cleaning fee is imposed if you do not perform the cleaning yourself. Overall, a good stay and recommend to others.

We spent a very happy week at the delightful Mas Le Macaju in the first week of July. This is a property that will particularly suit a family with young children, looking for somewhere more contemporary than rustic, comfortable, safe and within easy reach of the towns and villages on the western edge of Provence, 20 minutes from Avignon and about an hour to the airport in Marseille. The owner, Fabien, speaks heavily-accented French and barely any English but is very accommodating and responsive, and clearly takes great pride in maintaining the property. The house was spotlessly clean and the facilities excellent - a beautiful pool, a lovely shaded outdoor bbq/dining area, a modern laundry and well-equipped kitchen. Lounging by the pool, reading a good book and drinking copious quantities of rose was no hardship here!
