Holiday rentals near Oneroa Beach

We have just spent 10 days in January 2025 at the Enclosure Bay Views house. We were anxious as there were no previous reviews (being a new listing), however the letting agent was delightful and reassuring throughout the process. We were NOT disappointed! We Loved the house which worked perfectly for us as 2 couples. Bed and bathroom upstairs and bed and bath downstairs. The house was quiet, private and everything we could have asked for. Comfy beds, crisp linen, clean and modern bathrooms, plenty of built in wardrobes, hangers, a huge kitchen with equipment and utensils in abundance. Plenty of everything! Great ocean views, laundry, storage areas, lounge areas and indoor and outdoor dining. Overall this house is really well organised for a holiday letting. I would definitely have a car, there are so many wonderful day trips around Waiheke and our quiet Enclosure Bay sanctuary was the best location on the island. Enclosure Bay is smaller and quieter than Onetangi. Palm Beach and Oneroa were a short drive away and the prettiest beaches on the island. The driveway is steep but its not a problem at all. It leads you up to the ocean views! Apart from some outdoor furniture which could be updated, we had no faults with the house and thoroughly recommend for an amazing holiday location.

Lucy is one of the kindest hosts we’ve ever met - and we have stayed in hundreds of places around the world! She went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one - fantastic communication and generous beyond compare. Lucy’s home is a peaceful light-filled haven away from the hustle and bustle of Oneroa but close enough you can walk there in 15-20 mins along the esplanade/beach and over a gentle, undemanding hill. We loved exploring the area on foot and also walked to Mudbrick winery and Little Oneroa Beach. If walking isn’t for you, you can jump on one of the frequent local buses to get anywhere on the island - Palm Beach was a favourite of ours for swimming as unfortunately the Surfdale beach (easy 2 mins walk from Lucy’s) had a black algae outbreak so we couldn’t swim there (not a common occurrence we understand)! Lucy’s place is right across the road from a wonderful French cafe where we started our day with a coffee and delicious crepe or pastry. There are also two small supermarkets for picking up any groceries and a pub and restaurant (neither of which we went to so can’t comment on them). So many fabulous places to eat on the island it’s impossible to list them here! Stayed at Surfdale for two nights and was thrilled with the space, modernity and cleanliness of the apartment. Further pros are - comfortable,warm, well appointed kitchen, bbq and spa outside on the roof, views of water (left hand side), close to bus stop, close to shops, nice lounge, double curtains, entertainment and privacy Cons are bathroom modest size, but this is offset by the hot spa outside all to yourself! Great stay thank you for having us

We loved our stay at Tutiri! Was perfect walking distance to Oneroa for coffee or food or the local beach. Accomodation was light, bright and clean. Have already recommended it to friends!
