Holiday rentals near Tonami Tulip Gallery

A wonderfully authentic house 5 mins walk from Kenrokuen Gardens and Kanazawa Castle. It’s in a great residential area with a smattering of culturally interesting houses and temples hidden within. The house is impressively large with all the facilities you need (wash/dry washing machine, bath, shower, air con, microwave, coffee pod machine…). We really enjoyed this location and wished we could have stayed longer.

Bill was a great host: nothing was too much trouble. Our modern apartment was kitted out for both Japanese and foreign visitors. Good location within easy walking distance of the Castle precinct, Kenruoken garden, Omicho market and a longer stretch to Higamachi District. Don't miss the nearby Ninja Weapons Museum. The yakitori restaurant next door was also welcoming to Gaijin and unbelievably cheap.

Apartment had not been dusted for quite a long time. The back garden is a disgrace with litter and weeds. Lighting in the living room is poor and the main living room light bulb had failed.
