Holiday rentals near Kawhia Beach

Had a fabulous short stay at Ruru Whare. I wish I could have stayed longer. It was so peaceful sitting on the sunny deck relaxing and watching the tide go in and out, and Mt Karioi in the distance.

The feel of this home was lovely like the home was welcoming our whanau back to Kawhia, this home has enough room to house a large family and has a section for all the toys, very clean too.Patsy the host was also welcoming providing local knowledge and sharing experiences she had with our whanau, thank you very much Patsy for the chats and the warm welcome back home

The energy, wairua and awhi in this little Bach is showcased at the highest level. From the exterior finishings to the modern fit out with all the luxuries of a 5 star hotel, not only that their whenua is situated with captivating views and everything you could ever need to keep you busy, active… with just the right about or remote tranquility. This Bach is definitely a must do in Taharoa… You will not be disappointed at all… Don’t delay book your stay here and be immersed in the peace and serenity from this Devine space…

Good location. Only met Ray who was very nice and friendly. He gave us some local advise. Close to water and town. Great for fishing. Had meal at The Sands. Very nice. Great for unwinding.

Really nice place to use as a base, patsy is a lovely host. The house is squeaky clean, basic but comfortable, was perfect for what we needed. It would be great to get a bbq installed. No complaints from us at all.
