Beautiful cottage just out of town, hosts, Eddie and Julie, are lovely friendly people who are very willing to help you in any way they can. Lovely fresh home made and home grown goodies were an extra treat. I would recommend this place and would definitely come back again

We had a lovely stay here and great communication by the hosts. The house is compact but has everything you need and has been thoughtfully and stylishly designed. We ate in one night and really enjoyed just being able to relax. We also walked into Havelock North for dinner and its well lit and easy to do. We found this to be a great base for exploring the area and it was lovely and quiet at night. Highly recommend as a place to stay and look forward to coming back again.

We loved the house which had a fun and cozy vibe. Everything worked well. The location close to Havelock North was most convenient.The owner was very helpful, and we were delighted to be able to stay on for two extra days.

We were greeted by a gorgeous little quoll on the rear verandah- a great start to our stay. The house has everything you'd need for preparing meals and dining, the bed is very comfortable, lounge furniture very comfy and stylish. The use of recycled timber is very effective and adds to the casual, cosy feel of the home.
The view through the huge windows is nothing short of spectacular.
We spent most of our time on the water -kayaking, fishing and swimming or just watching the water traffic out on the channel from the deck. We didn't really feel the need to explore the island, but went to the pub for lunch one day. The property, view and ocean was so relaxing.
We've told all our friends and family how good this place is.
