In 1996, Mondavi opened his winery in the hopes of producing wine that would be some of the best in the world. Previously, he had worked with his brother and father at another winery in California, but split off to form his own after disagreements on vision.

Our expectations were blown away when we walked in the door, such a nice place! Perfect sized place for 2x couples or 2 colleagues. The location is great, 10 minute walk to downtown Napa. Communication from Jane was great and the lovely welcome gift with food and wine was a great touch. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

This apartment is wonderfully setup to make a great base for your visit to Santa Rosa and surrounding wineries. It has everything you need for a relaxed, comfortable stay. The back garden is a lovely place to relax after a day's exploration of the local area. Lots of shops and restaurants are also within walking distance.
