Holiday rentals near Peixe Market

Lovely apartment in a very central part of Quarteira, plenty of parking around the area. The apartment is very quiet, being only in a 2 level block and has double glazed windows and shutters to keep the noise out. Highly recommend for any families wanting to be close to the beach

I am going to start this review by stating that I am a professional 52 year old who has a stellar rating across all holiday rental platforms that I have used for innumerable years. I travel frequently and have NEVER had any difficulties with any hosts…until I dealt with these hosts My family travelled to Portugal for a highly anticipated and very significant family reunion-we were so excited. We stayed at Catherine and David’s property for 5 days and enjoyed friendly communication in the lead up to and during our stay. The problem were encountered immediately following our check out. We left at the agreed check out time and exchanged some pleasantries with the cleaner. Shortly following our departure, I received a highly offensive and accusatory message from the hosts (who do not appear to live near the property). They claim that we exceeded the agreed/maximum number of guests, left the house in a “filthy” state and that we tampered with their personal belongings deliberately that they choose to keep in a public area of the home. This information was relayed to the hosts via the cleaner. I refute these accusations in the strongest possible terms. Myself and my family are decent, honest, hard-working people who’s only intent was for a lovely holiday and spend time with our precious extended family. The last thing on our minds was to be deceptive, dishonest, destructive or dirty. I am still devastated by it all. These claims are baseless with no tangible evidence.
