From the moment we entered the apartment in Lucca, we knew it was something special. It wasn't just the look of the 3rd floor apartment, it was also the cleanliness, tasteful decor and the pride that the owners had on display. The apartment is in an ideal position, close enough to the main part of town, but in a position where we could hear the beautiful birds in Villa Bottini. Vinicio and Paola are one of the most courteous and organised owners we have dealt with. We had the good fortune to meet Leonardo and this mature, well mannered young man is a credit to his parents. We so loved many things about this apartment in Lucca. It’s location was perfect, right in the heart of this vibrant little city. A touch noisy in the evenings but this created a warm ambience and things went quiet after midnight. Plenty of space in the apartment which was clean , fresh and ample linen and towels. We had some difficulties with only being able to use one appliance at one time, eg: if you had the kettle on then you couldn’t have the washing machine on at the same time. Also, the removal of garbage was a little confusing. Hot water was limited for the showers but the three of us managed to all make do...... We would definitely consider coming back to this apartment as it was a great base for us ... a home away from home... close to everything and with most of the amenities from m home. Thank you for having us and we hope to return!
