Holiday rentals near North Stradbroke Island Historical Museum

The cottage was sweet and very tastefully furnished. Comfortable bed and good kitchen. The deck/verandah adds delightful living space where you can sit back on the banana lounge and enjoy the birdsong. We had a few mishaps in trying to plan our trip (due to ferry changes) but the host was always very responsive and patient. I'd love to go back sometime for another relaxing holiday.

Thanks to Sue for letting us stay at her amazing house again. House was great as usual, and a relaxing time was had by all. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Kate was such a lovely host. The property was stunning, more then we could've hoped for. The interior is beautiful even has a projector in a room to keep the kids settled at night. The view is to die for with a gorgeous space for fun outdoor activities. Kate was super helpful and communication was absolutely on point. We cannot wait to come back!! 10/5 stars!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent beds. House was comfortable, homely and maintained to a high standard. Equipped with anything you’d need to self cater or stay longer than a week. The aircon worked well on the few chilly nights. Located in a quiet neighbourhood a short stroll from the water with beautiful bird life in and around the yard. Host Michaela was friendly, thoughtful and helpfully provided information about the island. We would happily stay again.

Very happy with our stay. The view was amazing. The unit was clean. The kitchen had everything you could ask for. The complex has a great pool.

Beautifully styled natural modern home with an eco touch. Loved all the little extra touches and creature comforts that were provided and our welcome gift upon arrival. Plenty of space for the family and spectacular views of ocean and sunrise/sunset. We loved taking the kayaks out to explore, although the mudflats were quite rocky so bring your reef shoes. The fishing was also great. Loved the outdoor fireplace to cook, toast marshmallows and enjoy the outdoor areas. It was a little cold with lots of glass windows, tiles and open plan living, so a little heating would have been good. The kids also felt the cold having their beds right near the windows so make sure to rug up in winter but all in all a beautiful holiday location for us to relax and we will be back.

Excellent laid back holiday enjoyed in the hot tub and by the fire pit. Beds and pillows were comfy and location meant we could walk to the supermarket, ferry and swimming spot with ease To top it all off, the host was excellent with communication and going over and above to make sure that we had a memorable and enjoyable holiday Thanks!

Immaculately presented, absolutely fantastic garden, family and dog friendly, brilliant sunsets from the deck, open plan living, cool and inviting after beach fun, exactly what was needed after a Christmas spoilt by Covid! Owners should be justifiably proud.
