City of Carcassonne holiday rentals

We spent three nights in the apartment located in a very quiet neighbourhood but only minutes to restaurants and a small supermarket for our day to day needs and an interesting ten minute walk to the medieval city. Estelle was a superb host, with very good communications both before and during our stay. Estelle went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and stepped in to take care of our laundry when the washing machine developed a problem just prior to our arrival. The pleasant apartment was well equipped and furnished with all the essentials, and detailed instructions for the appliances. All the above contributed to our wonderful experiences in and around Carcassonne.

We spent a week staying in this house in June 2022. It is an absolutely beautiful property - a lovely house, immaculately clean, furnished and decorated with exquisite taste, and very comfortable in every respect. We were there during a heat wave and it was wonderful to come home after exploring Carcassonne and surrounds, to a cool house with marble floors and air conditioning. There is also a very pretty garden and shady outdoor dining area to relax in. The property is perfectly located near the Aude river, and just a short walk from the main town centre (the Bastide), the Canal du Midi, the train station, and the medieval walled city. At the same time, it is very quiet and safe. Sylvie, the host, is absolutely lovely and was the perfect host in every way. All in all, an absolutely brilliant house - we loved staying here and very much recommend it to others.
