Holiday rentals near Fort DeRussy

A beautifully renovated condo with full kitchen in a quiet apartment complex. Perfectly positioned at the zoo end of Waikiki and only a couple of blocks walk to the beach. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us and we are so very grateful for their hospitality. We had the most fabulous time in Honolulu staying here.

We absolutely loved our stay in Sheryl and Greg’s apartment. The accommodation was great with everything needed for our 8 night stay. It was very comfortable. The location was perfect for accessing all locations, from the Main Street, beaches to public transport and even fuel station.We’d love to stay again on our next trip.

We stayed at Courtney’s property which was excellent. Everything you could want was provided and beautifully renovated. Close to beach and shops. Would highly recommend and if we returned would stay again. Would rate the property 10 out of 10.

We celebrated a big 0 birthday. The last of the trio. Stayed at the Banyan all 3 times but this place is the standout! Everything you could ever want is supplied except for a dishwasher. And excellent communication with the host. This IS the place to stay so we will def be back when we hit the 0 birthday rounds again!

The location was excellent and the apartment was well equipped, neat and clean. The car park was great. The view, especially sunset, is fantastic. Bed was comfortable. Would be better if there was only one bed in the room as it is very cramped and we were unable to open the wardrobe. The TV did not work and despite the host supplying a replacement TV the following day, the host could not get that to work either. The air conditioning unit is very noisy. It is located on the floor hidden by the sofa bed and sideboard and therefore is not very effective in cooling the room. Please note that this apartment cannot be booked unless you prepay ($99)and take out their damage insurance even though we advised, and were able to show proof to the host, that this was covered by our travel insurance.

From booking to the end the owner was extremely responsive. Check in details were very clear and precise and he answered any questions quickly. He even left coffee and chocolates which was a very nice touch to make us feel welcome. The apartment itself is very well renovated and organised also very clean. We are extremely picky with cleanliness but it was spotless. It isnt huge but it is all very well set out. There was enough storage for our 9 night stay. The kitchen is well equipped, we didnt lack anything and love cooking. The lounge has a new sofa bed (we didnt use) but looked new and was different to the photo. The bed was super comfortable which had a portable extra fan in cupboard, safe, ironing board etc. The bathroom has a decent sized shower (no bath but we prefer showers). The balcony is large and excellent to sit out on to eat a meal/drinks. There were also some beach/pool toys etc. It overlooks the Hyatt but when sitting out there is also a good view of the lagoon, beach and the fireworks on a Friday night! Laundry facilities are just down the hall (not in the apartment) for a small fee (pay by card). Parking is valet, currently at $35us a day, very efficient and friendly staff (longest wait for car was 10 minutes at peak time). The whole place has an ice cream store, restaurant, concierge and shops (one with the staples if needed). Great clean well run, friendly staff. 15 minute walk to centre of Waikiki (stroll) and is centrally located to everything you need. Lots of dining options around and only a few minute walk to Ala Moana. We loved the location as we had a car and it was centrally located to explore the island and had the night life close by for evenings out. This is an amazing place to stay and would recommend it to anyone. You wont be disappointed.

This place had everything we needed. In an amazing location. Literally a 3 minute walk to the beach. Bed was super comfy and air con worked a great for thoes hot days. Will be back for sure
