Frequently asked questions

Where should I stay when visiting Anafi Pier?
For guests visiting Anafi Pier, there are a few excellent areas to consider for holiday rentals, each offering a distinct experience.

Chora, Anafi's main village, is a fantastic option. Perched high above the pier, properties here offer stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the island's unique architecture. It's a charming location with traditional tavernas and small shops, providing a true taste of local life. Access to Anafi Pier is straightforward, often involving a scenic drive or walk down.

Another excellent choice is the area around Klisidi Beach. This location is favoured by those who appreciate easy access to one of the island's most beautiful sandy beaches. Holiday rentals here often provide a relaxed, beach-focused stay, with the sounds of the waves nearby. Anafi Pier is a short drive or a pleasant walk along the coast from Klisidi, making it convenient for ferry connections.

For a more secluded experience, consider properties in the agricultural areas inland. These homes offer peace and quiet, often surrounded by olive groves and with panoramic views. While more removed, these properties are still within a reasonable driving distance of Anafi Pier and other island attractions.
What is the cheapest month to stay near Anafi Pier?
The cheapest time to find holiday rentals near Anafi Pier is typically during the late Autumn (October to November) or early Spring (March to April), excluding any major local festivals or Easter week. November is frequently the single cheapest month, often providing various savings on homes and properties, with rates potentially 20% lower compared to the peak summer months. Guests can often find better deals and greater availability during these periods.
