I never rent a property with less than a 4.7 average star rating. But I took a risk on a property with no reviews when I booked it, and the risk paid off.
This property is in a beautiful location! My husband was able to fish off the private pier and I was able to work on my dissertation with a beautiful water view.
Description says it's a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. We chose to drive and park in one of the two little pull off areas. We could have walked, but carrying beach supplies it's a bit far. While we did watch one family with a smaller child walk from our neighborhood one day, it seems everyone else mostly drove golf carts over.
The beach was beautiful, even on the tropical storm days. It was only "busy" one of the seven days we went. Oddly enough, that was on a Monday.
Fort Morgan is a low key area. Basically two restaurants, one little store, and a Dollar General are available without making a 30 minute drive to Gulf Shores. It was exactly what we were looking for, but if you need access to "stuff" 24/7, this may be too far off the beaten path for you.
We've never specifically discussed returning to the same place in the past, but we're already debating a two week stay next summer.
