A real gem!

This place is amongst the favourite places we have ever stayed. The apartment is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and warm and cosy. The location is stunning and peaceful, and within walking distance of a fabulous, characterful pub. The hosts could not have been more friendly or helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cúil at Thistles on Skye and would stay there again in a blink, we loved it!

I’ve enjoyed your lovely property it was a pleasure to stay in, we had everything that was needed and it was beautiful and clean. The location was great close run to Portree and easy travel to other locations we were interested in. The views were spectacular we will highly recommend this venue for other stays. What a view!

We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌
