Holiday rentals near St. Patrick's Cathedral

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in Manhattan after running the Boston Marathon. We wanted to stay in an apartment away from the tourist hotspots as this was our 2nd visit to the city, but close enough to the subway to easily access the must see places.The F line on the subway closest to the apartment was great as it took us uptown and downtown in a couple of stops.The apartment was a great size for 2 travellers, washing machine and dryer, great sized kitchen, was very clean. The location was a little too far out of the way for us, even though the subway was a 12 minute walk, this is surprisingly quite a hike winding through many streets. The area is of concern, I personally didn’t feel safe, we quickly worked out the safer streets to walk down. As referenced by another visitor the apartment was noisy as it backs on to a busy road which is frequently used by emergency service vehicles and many loud trucks and cars at all hours of the night.Overall the location was not for us but the apartment itself was great.

This holiday rental is truly a home. Myself and my partner stayed for five nights and it was such a relaxing, quiet and comfortable place to come back to after exploring NYC every day. Their street and property front is beautiful; authentic NYC. And the home itself is spacious and decked with everything you could need for staying away from home. We were able to do a load of washing (after already being overseas for a week), sleep in a super comfy bed and enjoy Netflix in our down time. We didn’t take advantage of the kitchen but could tell everything we needed was there to be enjoyed. Lastly, the hosts are super welcoming but do not make their presence known which was really appreciated.
