Holiday rentals near Baron Gerard Museum of Art and History

We loved our stay in Natalie's place. It is a short walk to the bakery and every morning we had fresh croissants and baguettes. The stairs are very steep but that was fine - it worked well for two adults and two "kids" (one a grown up kid). Great kitchen with lots of space, and Natalie kindly left some treats for us when we arrived. We also appreciated the early check in. It's about a 15 minute walk from the station, fairly flat. Close to everything including the main street of Bayeux and the tapestry museum. Would highly recommend!

The host Bruno could not have made our stay any better even meeting us on arrival to show us the car park. Amazing apartment on the 3rd floor of an old historic building. Expect 3 flights of original stone stairs but its worth every step when you open the door to this lovely comfortable well appointed home away from home for your stay in Bayeux. Highly recommended. Dont miss Patissiere guillaume for the croque monsieur.

We enjoyed our three nights in this studio in Bayeux. Gwen was a wonderful helpful host and picked us up and dropped us back at the train station which was great. Located in central Bayeux, adjacent to the Cathedral, made it easy for us to walk to nearby cafes and places of interest. Yet it was fairly quiet. Our studio was on the first floor, up narrow steps, which could be a challenge for travellers with large or heavy luggage. Facilities in the studio were clean and comfortable with lounge space to spread out and relax.

My wife and I can not recommend this apartment more highly. The special touches left for us as a welcome was a lovely touch. Celine was wonderful in helping us check in. The location was fantastic with a fantastic outlook. Great little town with so much to see. For all D-Day travellers, this is a great spot.
