Hyde Park holiday rentals

Gorgeous little house that has been recently renovated, clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable, bathroom terrific and the coffee machine was amazing!!! We were there for Netball Carnivals and Womens State of Origin and the location was easily accessible to both. Would definitely stay again.

I can't thank Angie enough for her assistance during this rental, she was so helpful! My daughter was staying in Townsville for 5 weeks, and was lucky enough to stay in this little apartment which has just been refurbished and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The beds are super comfy, the bathroom is roomy, the water pressure great, the AC blessedly cold and the kitchen stocked up with everything you need (including an ice maker which was a real hit!). We survived the cyclone unscathed (the area doesn't flood) and appreciated all the security (full crim-safe and outdoor cameras). The complex is quiet and the carport is a bonus. All in all a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend.

We stayed for a week at the apartment. Easy to locate, everything was clean & ready for us to settle in. Close to everything that we needed (grocery store, football stadium, and local attractions). The appliances were all easy to use, and had manuals if required. The air conditioning works very well & quick to cool the house down. Beds were comfortable. Our hosts were easy to communicate with & easily contactable when we needed to discuss anything. Overall, we loved our stay, would recommend to anyone & would stay again next time we’re in town.

We came up to Townsville for Basketball QLD state championships and were very lucky to have found this lovely little cottage! We only used two of the three bedrooms but the space was welcome and all the essentials were on hand thanks to the owner (incl. soap, towels, pillows & linen, toilet paper and laundry detergent). With a Woolies close by we were set! It was also an absolute blessing to have air conditioning in all the bedrooms and also the living/kitchen/dining room… a must for North QLD heat! Another final note - so many other parents in our group found other places to stay and complained about the noise and nocturnal happenings close by. We just smiled and thought “not for us! Perfect location… 10mins to get anywhere and it’s quiet and peaceful when you want it. Yay for us!” Thank you!!

What a little gem. 3 of us in our 60s had a lovely relaxing week. Some attention to detail would have been helpful. The shower is over the bath which was very challenging for my husband after 2 knee surgeries and would have been good to know in advance. I enjoy a soak in a bath, but there was no plug. We couldn't find any scissors in the utensils drawer so opening food packaging was challenging. As I said, just little details. Location was great, lovely neighbours and we would happily stay again.
