A hidden oasis

So close to Sydney yet a million miles from civilisation. Just sublime. The place was beautiful. The property was perfect for the kids to hike and explore. And the Shetland ponies and alpacas only sweetened the deal. We hate to leave but know that Little Forest will never leave us.

Amazing property

We had an amazing time spent at this property. We booked it as a family to celebrate mine and my partner’s wedding. Glad was spectacular and offered my nieces to help feed the animals with her everyday. They loved it and we all loved our time here. Very special memories made and plenty of space for a bridal party to get ready. Lots of amenities and kitchen supplies so you dont need to bring a thing.

Lovely cottage - clean and super warm fire!

Lovely cute cottage with everything you need in the kitchen and awesome selection of movies to watch cosied to the fireplace (that was all setup ready to just light when we arrived). Plenty of wood for a few days. Nice little drive to Bowral and Mittagong with their great food and thousands of antique shops! The biggest challenge was with no wifi we were stuck relying on 2 bars of intermittent 3G reception from Telstra. Made it really hard to get the small amount of work I needed todo whilst away. If your looking for a digital detox, then this is the place for you.

This was the perfect place to bookend out south coast road trip. Close to all things southern highlands. Beautifully quiet at night, clean and spacious. Many thanks to our thoughtful hosts.

Group friends weekend

We had 9 staying at Lavender Cottage and the bedding and beds were wonderful. The layout of the cottage was good, with dining room and lounge large enough for all, with comfortable seating etc. Surrounding was beautiful, and felt very countryside while still only 10-15 mins out of Mittagong. Great 4pm leaving on Sundays. On the downside, property needs considerable maintenance on appliances, heating etc, and outdoor cleaning on BBQ and furniture. We advised Property Management who have said they would get these things checked. Would confirm this has been done before returning.
