Kawungan holiday rentals

My family including our fur baby recently stayed at this delightful home in Hervey Bay. The home is well positioned back from the road in a quiet street. The home is well appointed, it was very clean and very well organised! The kids very much enjoyed the children’s room, they were excited upon arrival to find the lovely soft toys and books available for them to enjoy! The main bedroom was lovely, although we did use the back room as a dressing room so we could unpack our clothes properly as we stayed a week. The kitchen is the most well equipped and we found it very easy to navigate unlike some other rental properties we have stayed in. The laundry is a good size, we made full use of this due to a football camp our children participated in, my only suggestion here would be to include a drying machine as we had a few days of rain which made it a little difficult (there is however a portable clothes dryer which we put under a fan to help dry things). The yard was perfect for the children and our dog. Very secure and a good size! Also very private which we liked. We enjoyed a couple of dinners out on the patio. The local area is lovely, we took our bikes and explored the rail trail cycling over 50km on one day. We also cycled down to the pier and enjoyed watching the sunset as a family which was spectacular. Hervey Bay isn’t far from Maryborough so we visited this historic town and very much enjoyed exploring, we came back wanting to watch Mary Poppins! A lovely stay thank you!

We had a three night stay at this property, which we enjoyed. The host was friendly and helpful, giving us a quick overview on our arrival and very responsive to any issue. The location is quiet and easily accessible. The property was spacious, comfortable and adequately appointed, suitable for a couple. We would be happy to stay here again.
