Accra Luxury Apartments - not so luxurious!

Nice apartment spoiled but ill fitting and unopenable drapes and lack of basic facilities in the bathroom. Such as no towel rail, no hand towel, no vanity cupboard, poor lighting and no shelving to store toiletries. I will give credit where due that the drapes issue was fixed promptly though. Bathroom issues were not, except that a hand towel was provided. The apartment is close to the local Mall but, otherwise, the local area is very down market and unappealing. The food in the on-site cafe was excellent quality and wait staff service exemplary, but the cafe experience was spoiled by dreadfully slow kitchen service. Don't expect to swim in the tiny on-site swimming pool - it's barely big enough to get you wet. Oh, and the airport shuttle service only operates one way ... from the airport. Uber to the airport is cheap enough, but the Hotel.com listing for this accommodation should say that the shuttle service is one-way only. Be prepared to call the Apartments when your driver is a 'no show' as mine was.
