A wonderful cosy get away in a well appointed cabin

Lovely spacious property. Great for family gatherings. Master bedroom is lovely and quiet. Sound proof from kids rising early. Great park across the road to exercise dog. Park also has a playground for kids. We were there through a very cold snap in Adelaide so that heating was fantastic.Could do with more cutlery and crockery. Not enough cutlery for everyone. We found the mattresses a bit firm, but that’s personal preference. And would have loved a tv in the master bedroom. Looks like there was one there but has been removed. Great area close to beach.Would definitely re book.

Fantastic location not far from the city but you feel like you’re out in the country. The house was in great condition, plenty of room for everyone. No one got bored, there is plenty of entertainment. Kurt, the host, was extremely helpful and made sure we had a great stay. Sinclairs Gully winery had a music event on which was lovely. The wine tasted amazing and only a short walk to get there. The Scenic hotel was also a nice place to have lunch.

The hosts provided an array of thoughtful amenities that made our experience both comfortable and enjoyable.Each morning, we were treated to a fresh, delicious breakfast, with high-quality ingredients that set the perfect tone for the day. The property itself was a delight to explore its stunning gardens offered a peaceful retreat, with fresh tomatoes and vibrant greenery.One of the standout features of our stay was the breathtaking view overlooking the rolling hills. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the scenery made the entire experience feel serene and unforgettable.For anyone looking for a tranquil getaway, surrounded by natural beauty and warm hospitality, I wholeheartedly recommend staying here in the hills. It’s an experience that combines relaxation, comfort, and charm in the most delightful way.

Property was clean and well maintained, was great for a weekend getaway

A great 1-bedroom apartment in a convenient location, andwe were able to check in early. The shower needs to be resealed at the bottom it leaks into the bathroom floor, which is an easy fix.Thanks for a great stay.

A lovely stay with great communication

We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.
