Holiday rentals near Painswick Golf Club

The cottage was exactly as described, with an easy check in process and a lovely welcoming atmosphere (including a delicious Bakewell Tart, thank you!). We had confidence to stay here with our multiple allergies to fragrance after communicating with the responsive hosts. Northleach was a handy location to explore large areas of the Cotswolds while having a quiet location to return to at the end of the day. We also enjoyed the local shops and visiting the special church up the hill. My mum and I had a fantastic stay.

This property was everything we needed and so much more. If we didn't live so far away (Australia) we would be back. It's the best!

Really enjoyed the welcome gifts - the property was extremely comfortable with everything needed - a few mins walk to town parks & the local spring swimming pool & good base to explore locally & the Cotswolds

We were very comfortable staying at Malt Cottage. The rooms were cosy yet had enough room for our suitcases so we didn't have to unpack for the 3 nights. The appliances and decor were modern and clutter-free. The cottage is just a short walk to the pubs/restaurants. Although it is on the main road through town, the noise didnt continue through the night, so our sleep wasn't disrupted. (Sidenote - The Sherborne Inn was Fantastic, both staff and food. Friendly and helpful, especially pl with dietary requirements. We found the staff at the Wheatsheaf Inn and to be quite unapproachable upon entry, even though we had a booking. After eye contact with numerous waiters and barstaff, we had to chase down a waiter to get seen to. The "Curious Wine Cellar" was even worse, and were not willing to discuss dietary requirements either.)

We were welcomed by Louise, a very friendly and helpful owner who showed us around. The property has very secure parking. It is spacious, lounge/dining is roomy as is the bedrooms. It has everthing you need, and is well situated for Cotswold touring. Cricklade itself is well worth a visit. Very happy with our stay.

My husband & I had a wonderful seven night stay at the delightful Herons Nest. It is in such a picturesque location & everything one could want for in a country cottage. Nothing was too much trouble for Hillary (the owner ) who made our stay just perfect & we loved every minute of being there. We even had deer out in the surrounding fields, which was lovely to see as we were having breakfast at the large kitchen window. We would love to return one day & highly recommend it. Southwold Barn was perfect for our family of 8 adults to get together. It was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The patio and garden were stunning with a lovely rural outlook. Emma was a wonderful host
