Holiday rentals near Scottish Real Ale Shop

Mill Glen is perfectly positioned 400m from the town of Alva...a fabulous base to explore the Stirling District. The accommodation is well stocked for self catering, and is beautifully clean. There are plenty of opportunities to walk the local pathways, away from traffic and enjoy the birdlife and wonderful scenery. We had a very enjoyable stay at Mill Glen and thoroughly recommendthe venue.

Beautiful pretty cottage on the banks of Loch Lomond. Everything was as described. Wonderful spot for walking and enjoying the scenery. Property owner was friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to visit. It provided the perfect break. Would definitely visit again

Excellent accommodation. Well equipped with everything you need for an extended stay. Description and photos are accurate. Nice gardens with a lovely elevated seating area with expansive loch views - perfect for an evening wine or chilling back with a book. Claire is a responsive host. Hiking trails from the property. Short drive into Balloch which is a pretty town with all facilities. We found it an excellent central base for touring throughout the Loch Lomond area and also with Stirling and Glasgow less than a hour's drive away. Highly recommend.
