Quaint, centrally located character apartment in the heart of Amboise. Walking distance everywhere in the main post of town. Literally 10 steps from a fabulous boulangerie and right on the main street.

The apartment is comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed and more. The apartment is right next to shops and restaurants. In addition Monique and Jack were the friendliest of hosts, very accommodating and informative of the local area, they made our stay very enjoyable.

We loved our stay in Amboise. La Maison des Cochers was fantastic - clean, comfortable bed, well heated and well equipped. We loved the quirky decoration as did our young grandchildren who were staying nearby. Pascale, the owner, was charming and helpful. The location in Amboise was good as we had a boulangerie and coffee shop over the road and could easily walk to the castle and the river. The apartment is well soundproofed as we did not hear a sound from the guests in the apartment above ours. I would definitely stay here again.
