We had a great stay.The apartment is very comfortable and well appointed. It is spacious and the ideal base for an extended stay in London. We booked 8 nights and found it perfect. It is located in great area, there are plenty of shops close by and Kings road is at the end of the street Highly recommend !
Within a 7 minute walk of Gloucester Road tube station on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow Airport and we were into our cosy comfortable London abode, relatively quickly after landing . Holly greeted us herself and gave us all the information to enable us to have a very pleasant week.
We enjoyed dinner at nearby restaurants, purchased makings of dinner from nearby Waitrose and wine shops. A trip to the museums with afternoon tea at either Ampersand or Kensington Hotels was easily achieved. Other days we either caught the tube trains or caught the Number 14 red bus to central London destinations. Apart from the chilly weather which no one had any control of , everything was perfect. I stayed at Caroline’s flat for three days in late September. Pimlico was the perfect location for me. Easy to walk to the tube stations, museums and art galleries etc.
The flat was cosy and had everything needed for a short or long term stay. Caroline was an exceptional host and when my National Art Pass (ordered from Australia) had not arrived in time for my visit, Caroline very kindly lent me her passes (it helped to have the same first name!).
On my last night it was cold and wet and it was a delight to return to the flat, put on the gas heater and tuck into the savoury and sweet treats provided by Caroline (ham, cheese, bread, wine). An absolute ‘life saver’ since I had not stopped to stock up on food!
I felt very comfortable in the flat and plan to stay there on future visits to London.
Dee was a great communicator. The apartment was small, clean, well equipped, with potted plants on generous private balcony & even fresh flowers on the breakfast table. Recommended
Charming little flat in the heart of the theatre district, on the main train line from Heathrow and 3 minute walk from Holborn tube station, flat was spotless and had all the bits and bobs you need for a short stay in the city, highly recommended
