Holiday rentals near Tasmanian Giant Freshwater Lobster Expeditions

The house is spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. It is a stand-alone house on a big block with a beautiful garden. The location is excellent, only a short stroll to bakeries. Cafes, restaurants and a brewery. Highly recommended.

We arrived to a very nice heated house which was spotless and very welcoming. Once unpack the owner , Terry , arrived to great us and make sure very thing was ok. Very friendly and helpful owner. The house has beach front views and is very roomy with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It is a 5 minute walk to the shops which has an IGA , bakery, coffeehouse, information shop ,several restaurants and a pub. We had a meal at the pub , great atmosphere and food. Penguin is a great location for day trips to Stanley and the north west part of Tasmania. It is a 30 minute drive to Devonport to catch the Spirit of Tasmania. The owner ,Terry , made our last 4 days in Tasmania perfect with not only his charming house but also his friendly nature. Will be coming back to stay at “ sunrise at penguin “ again Thank you Terry

Forth River Cottage was amazing, there is absolutely nothing the owners haven’t thought of, Sally was so easy to communicate with and offers great advice on the local area, The property is in such a beautiful location on the banks of the river and no stone is left unturned with the owners making our stay a truely special one, a complimentary bottle of wine for a birthday gift along with fresh eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and milk to name just a few of the gifts to make our stay even more memorable, Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great relaxing time away, Cheers Zak & V

We loved our stay at buttons cottage. Alison was a great host and made us feel very welcome. It was great to be able to take our dog along with us. Just wish we could have stayed a few more days, 3 nights was not enough to explore the surrounding areas and visit family in the area. We did see platypus in the dam which was very exciting. Thank you Alison for a great visit- we will be back just to see the Leven Canyon.
