Karen communicated with us prior to our arrival She then met us and showed us the workings of the apartment as well as the enormous external entertainment centre The apartment was beautifully appointed and comfortable with lovely views of the lake and the township belowFrom this location we were able to drive to the many tourist attractions The highlight for us travelling in winter was the day trip to Big White Ski resort Downtown Kelowna is about 15 minutes drive away however there are all types of shops and restaurants close by in West Kelowna

The host was very welcoming, we came in late and had a mix up with the neighbour as it's a duplex basement. The correct basement/property is on the righthand side. The only inconvenience was a lack of dishwasher which wasn't too bad for a short stay as the drying rack was large. The only other suggestion would be to have more outlets around the couch for charging devices. A lovely stay, centrally located, happy to recommend.

Had a long stay of 11 nights in the Cottage. It was perfect for us. Fastidiously clean. Hosts helpful but never intrusive. The Cottage is spacious and comfortable. Kitchen very User Friendly. Stacked Washer/Dryer was sanity saver. So easy. Bathroom good. Shower excellent. Great TV and the lounge room was warm and comfortable. Charming Decor throughout. Interesting and attractive but never cluttered. The Bedroom had great storage and very comfortable bed. It was warmer at arrival then temperatures plummeted to -6 C but the heating was very good and we left before a need for heavy duty heating turned on. Parking near front door. Lots of outdoor areas for sitting. East Hill is a lovely residential area. We shopped at nearby Butcher Boys, which is excellent for groceries and alcohol. Heartily recommend The Cottage.
