A gorgeous cottage in a very peaceful and pretty setting. Loved the interiors, the attention to detail and the friendliness of the hosts. Highly recommended!

Very well presented property with a communicative host. Very relaxed stay with no issues. Property is on the edge of town, very peaceful and relaxed, slight uphill walk but not an issue. House has a flight of steps to the front door and steps around to the back, not an issue for us but might impact those with mobility impairments. We stayed 3 nights and had no issues or concerns, property could probably use a decent coffee machine and a sound system like Sonos to make it even better but for 3 days it was great.

Penny and Collin are lovely people who were very welcoming and helpful. The Bothy had everything we needed plus. Location scenic, peaceful and close to a local village. A great place to explore from.

We had a wonderful week at The Stables. I can highly recommend this property as of a very high standard, serene and relaxing while easy to travel to other parts of Scotland. The beds were comfortable and everything was pristine. Great directions to the property were provided prior to our stay by Fiona. A lovely, warm welcome was received from Thomas as well as a much appreciated, locally sourced, welcome basket left for us. The amount of information relating to areas of interest was fabulous. We enjoyed watching the antics of the sheep and cows from our windows and surrounding countryside was lovely and relaxing. Would love to come back and will definitely recommend to any fellow Australian travellers.

I don’t know where to start with this property. From start to finish it was an absolute dream. The location is idyllic. Yes it’s off the main road a bit but easily accessible by taxis and the like. We had a hire car so no issues there. The views are breathtaking and the house has everything you’ll need. The best thing was that we felt totally at ease with our two year old running around outside in the fully fenced yard - even inside the house, it was child friendly without any sacrifices made to the classy look of the house. My granny (from the local town in Keith) absolutely loved visiting and sitting looking out to the Knock where she was born. We will forever remember the chats around the fireplace. And to top it off the house was well priced and the owners were so fantastic to communicate with. We ended up extending our stay! Thanks so much for sharing this lovely home we will definitely be back!
