Holiday rentals near Ronde Lutherse Kerk

We really enjoyed the central location and the opportunity to stay in such a charming canal house. The house was spacious and well equipped, and the hosts were very helpful. The stairs weren’t an issue for us but anyone with mobility issues might find the flights of stairs challenging. There were no negatives - we were just surprised that there was no shower gel and a few drops of hand soap left in the dispenser on arrival. We ended up having to buy our own and leaving it for the next person. The lounge had a few old stains on it and the bath towels could do with an upgrade. These are just small things, but they make a difference when you are paying a decent price for accommodation.

Albert’s houseboat is an incredibly comfortable and peaceful place to stay. It is very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and had everything an international traveler might appreciate, including the full size washing machine and dryer, very effective heating, double glazing and condiments (eg herbs, spices, oil) to make the most of the chef’s kitchen overlooking the canal. A real highlight was watching the rowers come past in the early morning and the visiting waterbirds including coots, ducks and swans. We didn’t meet Albert but he was available if we had any queries. We loved every minute of our stay here. If you see this and are thinking about it, you won’t regret it.

The location is unbeatable, the restaurant downstairs is awesome (we ate/drank there three times) as are a number of places nearby. There is a bike rental shop next door and a supermarket just down the street which were both very useful for the duration of our stay. The host was great and explained everything in detail when we arrived and made some good reccommendations about where to go and eat. We of course loved the touches of beer/sparkling wine that we could enjoy upon arrival along with some snacks. The bed is also super comfy. I absolutely recommend staying here! It was one of highlights of our holiday so far.

Windmill Cottage was a delightfully appointed place to stay for 4 adults. Our host Hans was most helpful in suggesting places to visit and where to eat and we enjoyed looking around his farm. A most enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it for a delightful experience.

Upon arrival we were greated by Dana, she welcomed us and showed us her ship. A lot of the work she has done herself and it makes it all the more special to stay on. The location is right at the end of a quiet pier so it’s nice and private. The ship is within walking distance of everything you would want to do in Amsterdam. We couldn’t fault this amazing ship and the host. Thanks for having us Dave and Meaghan.
