Great location with an attentive host

Our stay at Naoko and Andy’s Machiya was perfect. We were with our 3 kids and the place made our travels so much easier as we could come back to a place that felt like home. The location is central and easy to walk to places from. There are great cafes and restaurants near by and Naoko and Andy were nothing but the perfect hosts - so attentive to every question. Amazing stay

We loved our stay in this beautiful house with great amenities. A fantastic location, close to many temples, gardens and cafes. The hosts were very accommodating and gave clear communication for the check in. There are also amazing forest walks nearby that pass through a number of less visited temples. We hope to return some day soon.

Amazing location and excellent host

Authentic accommodation. The host and the owner were wonderful. We dealt with Satoru who was amazing. Speaks fluent English and very knowledgeable of the area. His recommendations were great especially for food. Will happily stay there again.

Great home for Kyoto stay

This property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay here greatly. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us a good tour on arrival and provided plenty of advice about the surrounding area. They also responded very promptly to any msgs in the Stayz app. Property was very clean, easy to walk to/from the train and in a nice area.
