Holiday rentals near Chiesa di Sant'Agostino

Around 4km from village of San Gimignano so you need a car. Villa looks old but is actually quite new so all bedrooms have spacious well functioning ensuites unlike some centuries old villas. Great place for a large group (we had 8 adults) with 12 others who came for a party in the postcard gardens by the pool. Be aware that certain basics are not sufficient for this number over a week and you will need toilet paper wash cloths paper towels etc. The accom is up a wide attractive flight of stairs on level 1. We did not have a concern with the stairs. Host Barbara is delightful. Provided fresh eggs from her chickens. Helped with getting a taxi to snd from SG. We used this frequently so we could all enjoy a drink. It cost 40 per one way trip which is ok when shared. Sometimes it can be difficult to get a taxi so we booked each return trip as we left tge last. Sonia, tge driver was brilliant. Barbara also cooked us one hot and cold breakfast for 15 pp which was delicious. Loved our stay at Podere Lo Spadino

Our family of 5 enjoyed every minute of trip to Tuscany and our stay at Leo’s place was wonderful.Leo was excellent at communicating and made us feel very welcomed in his beautiful house.

We selected Villa Rivoltino Di Sopra because of the location, facilities and setting. All of these exceeded our expectations. In addition Giulia the property manager made our stay even better. Highlights were the proximity to the captivating town of Volterra, the hospitality of the nearby trattoria Prato d’Era, being able to get to Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti, Montalcino and so many other places so easily. The house, the pool, the outdoor barbecue, the brilliant kitchen and the grounds of the villa were perfect. The wildlife (deer, ferrets and hedgehogs to name a few) were also unexpected. Giulia and Vincent could not have done more to make this 4 week holiday unforgettable

We found the White House very good accomodation for our needs It was very roomy, everything worked well, the beds were comfortable , the pool very good and our host Luca very accomodating and helpful Monopoli is a good base to explore close by regional Tuscan towns like San Miniato, Vinci and Palaia We elected to visit Florence by train which worked well with very good parking in San Romano by the station Despite having TV access to cable stations, there were only a few English stations such as BBC world news. The WiFi worked well We would highly recommend this property
