Truly peaceful cottage. Check in was so easy. The cottage was spotless - we really appreciated the toweling robes such a warm touch. The bathroom and kitchen were both sparkling clean. We were able to relax and take in the English country vibe. Thank you to our hosts who were so friendly and offered great advice of what to see and where to go. Thank you. We hope to be back next time we travel from Australia.

This property is situated in Durmast House just outide the beautiful village of Burley. This property has manificent grounds and ample parking. Every possible utensil.is available. Hosts Phillip and Margaret are on hand to assist as needed. The flat is spacious and homely. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Firstly let me congratulate and thank Damien for being a superb host. He is a prompt and informative communicator and met us at the flat to show us around and answer any questions we may have had. The flat is not large but it’s very comfortable. The living area has an enormous sofa and the kitchen is equipped with anything you could possibly need, including a dining table. Damien very thoughtfully left us welcome gifts of food and drinks, as well as written information for everything pertaining to both the flat and the area. Beds are extremely comfortable and the main bedroom opens out onto the pretty back garden which we unfortunately couldn’t use because of the weather! There is a combined washing machine/dryer and wifi is reliable and fast. Waterloo Station is an easy 14 minute walk as are lots of restaurants in areas such as Gabriel’s Wharf. Would we go back? Indeed we would!

Within a 7 minute walk of Gloucester Road tube station on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow Airport and we were into our cosy comfortable London abode, relatively quickly after landing . Holly greeted us herself and gave us all the information to enable us to have a very pleasant week. We enjoyed dinner at nearby restaurants, purchased makings of dinner from nearby Waitrose and wine shops. A trip to the museums with afternoon tea at either Ampersand or Kensington Hotels was easily achieved. Other days we either caught the tube trains or caught the Number 14 red bus to central London destinations. Apart from the chilly weather which no one had any control of , everything was perfect. This unit is perfectly located to: walk around Westwood Ho, tackle the coastal walk or just walk/look and enjoy the beach. It is an easy drive to Exmoor National Park and highlights of North Devon such as the Valley of the Rocks, as well as gorgeous Appledore and Clovelly. James is a perfect host and the unit is a superb holiday getaway.

Terrific location and easy access from transport. Couldn't find the lift until upstairs but it was not too daunting with bags. Views of the Avon River and bridge etcetera, outstanding. Well equipped kitchen and very appreciative of the milk and other provisions. Many thanks, highly recommend.
